Stella Adds Hand-Rubbed Flavor To Italian-Style Classic Cheeses

Saputo Specialty Cheese is now offering a selection of its Stella® Italian-style cheeses in hand-rubbed flavors. Black Pepper Romano combines the traditionally sharp and salty flavors of Romano cheese with cracked black peppercorn. The cheese is aged at least five months to allow the flavors to seamlessly meld.

Mediterranean Parmesan is enrobed with the earthy flavors of tomato, extra virgin olive oil and a bold blend of paprika, sesame seeds and garlic, then aged 10 months. Rosemary Medium Asiago is hand-rubbed with extra virgin olive oil and rosemary, to enhance the natural sweetness of the cheese. All three flavors make excellent additions to pastas, salads and vegetable dishes.
