BelGioioso Enhances Creamy Burrata with Black Truffles

BelGioioso has added a delicate, subtle flavor to a classic Italian-style fresh cheese with new Black Truffle Burrata. This cheese starts with fresh Wisconsin milk and is made just hours after milking. Each handcrafted mozzarella pouch is filled with a rich straciatella and black summer truffles. 

Black Truffle Burrata lends itself to a wide range of menu applications. For a simple yet striking appetizer, drizzle extra virgin olive oil over a whole burrata and serve with slices of prosciutto and fresh warm bread. It’s also a unique alternative  to buffalo mozzarella; slice and center on a plate of hot pasta  or add to specialty pizzas.
