History:

Rich in the tradition of Wisconsin cheese making, Springside Cheese, a family owned and operated business, carries on a legacy of producing the finest hand-crafted, natural cheeses. Springside Cheese was first established in 1908 and purchased in 1973 by Wayne Hintz and family. We integrate the passion of four generations of cheese makers and the legacy of Wisconsin cheese making to create hand-crafted, award-winning cheese. We offer world-class customer service and steadfast loyalty to the local dairy community. Our milk supply is rBGH-free and comes from small family farms. Using small batch production, we are capable of manufacturing custom orders for flavored Cheddar, Colby, Colby Jack and Monterey Jack in sizes ranging from 3 lb. gems to 150 lb. mammoths. In addition, Springside Cheese is able to work with wholesale customers on developing new and unique natural cheeses per specifications. Springside Cheese operates retail locations at the factory in Oconto Falls, Wisconsin, off the highway in Stiles, Wisconsin, downtown Pueblo, Colorado, and online at springsidecheese.com. Retail customers can find a variety of cheeses and gifts at each location.
