Renard's Cheese was started in 1961 and for the past 53 years has been an icon of Door County business. Renard's is a family owned and operated business that is now on its third generation of cheesemakers. Today, Chris Renard, Master Cheesemaker, and his wife, Ann Renard, own Renard's Cheese factory where all the cheese is produced.

The Renard family is committed to continuing the tradition of hand-crafted specialty cheese while maintaining the quality, gourmet cheese that is perfectly blended. This precise art has awarded the Renards not only a reputation of great standards but also a product that they are proud to put their name on.

Renard's Cheese produces Colby, Brick, Cheddar, Flavored Cheddar, Muenster, Monterey Jack, Flavored Jacks and CoJack, which we refer to as Marble. We make cheese spreads with an intriguing selection of flavors. Also manufactured at our factory is String cheese, whips, bandage styles and other specialty cheese. All our cheese is made from pure and natural ingredients.
