Join us in Shorewood on Thursday, June 21, 2012, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for the Tour of America's Dairyland Shorewood Criterium Cycling Classic. Entering its fourth year, Tour of America's Dairyland (ToAD), presented by Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board, is now the largest competitive cycling event in the U.S. ToAD will travel to 11 Wisconsin communities, June 21-July 1, and include two road races and nine criteriums or “crits” (lap races), four of which will be on the USA Cycling National Criterium Calendar (NCC). With the exception of Shorewood, where there are Pro Men’s and Pro Women’s races only, every venue will have at least seven races featuring 500+ racers per day. The schedules of Waukesha, Sheboygan, Fond du Lac, Downer Avenue and Madison will include Junior races as well.
Complementing the continuous cycling action in each community will be FREE family fun, kids activities (including a Kid’s Race at most venues right before the Pro Men’s race), merchant sales, food and drink, and so much more! These are massive neighborhood festivals accompanied by hours of high-energy cycling!
